Delete Your Account

You can delete your StreetTongue account and all associated data at any time using either method below.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In the App (Recommended)

1. Open the StreetTongue app
2. Tap the Settings tab (bottom navigation)
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm when prompted

Your account and data will be permanently deleted.

Option 2: Email Request

Send a deletion request to privacy@streettongueapp.com from the email address associated with your account. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your email address and name
• Learning progress, XP, streaks, and SRS data
• AI conversation history
• Pronunciation scores and session history
• Goals, preferences, and city selections

What Is Retained

Some data is kept after deletion where we have a legal obligation to do so:

• Purchase records are retained for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution purposes as required by law

Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund. Your in-app purchases are tied to your Apple ID or Google Play account and governed by Apple’s or Google’s refund policies.
